Babe of the Day // David Gilmour from Pink Floyd

50 years ago on the February 18th, 1968 David Gilmour joined the band Pink Floyd and along with Roger Waters change the face of music. 

David Gilmour born in Cambridge in March 6th 1946 (Pisces) picked up a guitar at the age of 13 and start to learn by picking sound in the radio and particularly a learning disc by Pete Seeger.

He start playing with "The Ramblers" who became after "The Jokers Wild" 1965-1966, after some rambling around Europe and few projects he is gonna join the group "Pink Floyd" at the demand of Nick Mason (drums), to support Syd Barrett on stage. Who started to be erratic and mentally ill. 
In April 68 he is gonna replace Barrett completely and bring Pink Floyd in the rank of Legends.
