Coven is a 1968 Psychedelic Rock band from Chicago, Illinois.

The beautiful and enigmatic priestess of occult singer Jinx Dawson is self proclaimed the first artist to use the Devil Horn Sign with the band in the Rock'n'Roll history. 

They were also the first band to sing odes to occultism, using blasphemy, aiming to be a satanist act against christianity which has given the satanist reputation to metal today.

Coven was as well a real practising Coven with Jinx as high priestess it must have been something !!

This act with his slow, heavy and bewitching melodies is for sure the mother of the Doom metal and we love that!!
